In the United States, an estimated 5–6 million women have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), making it one of the most common endocrine disorders among reproductive-aged women. Globally, up to 70% of cases remain undiagnosed. As a leading cause of anovulation, infertility, and is associated with long-term health risks, PCOS requires careful management. This grand rounds will equip primary care clinicians with strategies to recognize diverse presentations, apply evidence-based diagnostic criteria, and develop effective management plans. Through case reviews and discussions, participants will explore collaborative approaches to improving reproductive and metabolic health outcomes in patients with PCOS.

1. Discuss the role of primary care physicians in the diagnosis and management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
2. Explore emerging research into novel therapies for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
3. Evaluate the current American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists treatment guidelines for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
4. Analyze the implications of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome on psychosocial, metabolic, and reproductive health.
5. Critique the current understanding of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome pathophysiology and diagnostic criteria.
