Despite the prevalence of menopause and perimenopause among women, there remains a significant gap in healthcare providers' understanding of these transitional phases and their management. Many clinicians are not aware of how to diagnose menopause and perimenopause accurately, leading to inconsistencies in patient care and potentially overlooking essential symptoms and risk factors. Additionally, the landscape of hormonal and non-hormonal therapies for menopause management is rapidly evolving, necessitating continuous education to understand the latest evidence-based approaches and effectively communicate the risks and benefits to patients. Furthermore, the management of dysfunctional uterine bleeding presents another challenge, as clinicians often struggle to develop individualized management plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences. By bridging these knowledge and skill gaps, healthcare providers can enhance the quality of care they deliver to women experiencing menopausal transitions and dysfunctional uterine bleeding, ultimately improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
