2026 NCH Neuro-oncology Tumor Board (RSS) - 3/24/2026

Each week, we conduct a comprehensive case conference focusing on 10-30 Central Nervous System (CNS) tumor cases. This multi-disciplinary session includes Neuro-Radiology presentations on CNS tumor imaging and education on advanced imaging acquisition techniques and in-depth discussions on neuroanatomy related to cases presented. Neuro-Oncology discussion to explore different types of treatment options and a case base analysis to determine optimal therapeutic strategies. Radiation Oncology discussion to review diverse radiation treatment modalities and evaluation case specific radiation therapy plans and outcomes. Neurosurgery discussion provides insight into the insight of CNS tumor surgical approaches, surgical outcomes and post-operative care. This conference offers PROFUSE learning opportunities about CNS anatomy and the pathophysiology of CNS malignancies, fostering a deep understanding of the interdisciplinary approach to CNS tumor management.

1. Apply current evidence-based practices to provide improved outcomes for patients diagnosed with, or currently undergoing treatment for cancer.
2. Apply treatment plans agreed upon by consensus at the conference to their cancer patients.
3. Recognize improved cancer care management based upon interactions with colleagues, including shared perspectives, expertise and experiences.
4. Identify available clinical trials that their patients may be eligible for participation.
