Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among women in Illinois; lung cancer is the leading cause of death among women and men in Illinois. This event is to bring awareness to the importance of breast and lung cancer screening, patients who are at high risk, and current treatments.

1. Summarize history of Pink and Pearl.
2. Discuss current recommendations for breast cancer screening.
3. Explain genetic testing and how it relates to breast cancer.
4. Identify patients at high risk for breast cancer.
5. Discuss the breast multidisciplinary conference and clinic.
6. Describe eligibility for lung cancer screening.
7. Discuss the thoracic multidisciplinary conference and team.
8. Describe new advances for early lung cancer detection.
9. Explain molecular testing and treatment related to lung cancer.
