Chronic pain affects an estimated 50 million adults in the United States, with 19.6 million experiencing high-impact chronic pain that significantly limits daily life or work activities. Acute pain, though often temporary, poses a risk of progressing to chronic pain if not addressed appropriately. This activity will explore the integration of multidisciplinary care approaches, emphasizing collaboration between primary care providers and pain clinics. Participants will review evidence-based practices for interventional, pharmacologic, and psychosocial treatments, using real-world case reviews to enhance care strategies. By addressing the biopsychosocial dimensions of pain, this educational activity aims to improve patient outcomes and quality of life for individuals managing pain.

1. Define key interventional pain management options and procedures.
2. Summarize psychosocial component of pain and treatment strategies.
3. Collaborate with pain clinics to provide multidisciplinary care for patients managing chronic or acute pain.
